Fiberware was founded 1990 in Berlin, Germany by Dr. Georg Kuka. The company moved 1996 from Berlin to the new production facilities in Mittweida, which is one of the famous cities for laser- and optical technologies and scientific works. Today is fiberware a worldwide known producer of speciality optical fibers, fiberoptic based products, cables, sensors, fiber bundles and capillaries for standard and non standard applications. Our product innovation, highest quality, flexibility and product realisation is our main competence, which we share proudly with our customers.

fiberware GmbH is certified according to EN ISO 13485 and exports over 50% of its products worldwide. The headquarters is located at Bornheimer Straße 4, 09648 Mittweida, Germany.
MANAGEMENT STATEMENT
With over 30 years of experience in the optical industry, fiberware places great emphasis on the highest quality and close cooperation with customers to develop product innovations. The company's in-house research and development team makes it possible to produce optical products from fiber production to assembly. The company also has clean rooms for medical applications.
The product range includes IR, UV and SM glass fibers, microstructure fibers, hollow waveguides, special optical cables and capillaries.
